As an Infectious Disease Nurse, you&apos;ll work to prevent the spread of infectious viruses, including dangerous outbreaks and epidemics. Infectious Disease nurses must be able to implement, monitor, and revise infection control policies for LTC facilities, hospitals, clinics, and hospice centers.
