<strong>MUST HAVE NM OR COMPACT LICENSE</strong><br> <br> <strong>COVID vaccine not required but preferred, client will accept a religious declination (medical declination must be accompanied by medical provider liucense to practice in NM) and weekly testing, which can be completed on-site. If they elect to have outside testing completed the candidate is responsible to get results to HR weekly and no home tests accepted.</strong>

<ul> <li>Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate fetal monitoring or Advanced Approved <li>STABLE Preferred <li>5 years of experience Required  <li>Adequately assess/care for antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum care. <li>Competency with newborn assessment and care. <li>Must know sterile tech and possess knowledge of sterile field. <li>The number of days they float varies <li>Occasional float to MS (1-2) easy patients if no OB’s <li>No scrub color requirement for this unit  <li>3 LDRPs with two antepartum room (C-section moms) <li>Ratio 2-1 laboring, 3 couplets to 1 <li>Ancillary Staff for Assistance charge nurse, meds surge nurses to assist with post-partum, director always on call <li>LDRP or Separate Mom/ Baby and/or Post Partum Units? LDRP <li>High Risk Deliveries <li>On call for: Hospitalist, ER doctors <li>Floating Requirements: Typically M/S, not full  <li>Births per month: 15-18.  </ul>
Qualifications:

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

  • 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
  • Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
  • An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
