So please screen your nurse prior to submitting and make sure they’re onboard with starting the assignment if offered. <br> <br> <br> <strong><u>MUST HAVE TO SUBMIT TO CLIENT:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Auto Offer Form is also required to submit your candidate. The Auto Offer Form is located under files on the position page. Please have your candidate sign the form and answer any questions on the form if needed.</p>
<p>SSN and DOB Required to submit.</p>

<p>Active License, Nursys Required</p>

<p>All Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, Fetal Monitoring </p>

<p>Time off request much be included at submit. Client won’t allow changes after the candidate has been presented. Holiday RTO will not be approved so client has asked that we don&apos;t submit if the nurse has any holiday time off request. </p>

<p>Experience on the resume must show 2 recent years within the specialty.  </p>

<p>Effective 01/11/2024, AMC will not accept applicants who reside in the following ineligible counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington.</p>

<p>If candidate has worked as a perm employee at any of the below facilities within the last 12 months they can&apos;t be submitted for consideration: Albany, Glen Falls, Saratoga Hospital and Columbia Memorial</p>

<p>As of 6/23/23 Albany Medical Center encourages the COVID Vaccine Card although no longer requires it.</p>

<p>Modules required prior to starting. Client will email them directly to the nurse once they&apos;re fully compliant. Modules will be unpaid. Approximate time is 3 Hours.</p>

<p>Please do not submit your candidate unless they’re 100% onboard with accepting the offer if given. The client is very sensitive to drops and we need to prevent any drops. </p>

<p>HealthTrust Travel nurses are required to float when requested and as needed. There is no set frequency.</p>

<p>Number of Beds : 2,000 deliveries each year, predominantly high risk population. 11 Labor Rooms plus 3 swing and 4 bed triage/3 Operating Rooms</p>

<p>Unit staffing description- All RN staff with unit secretary and OR surgical techs. OB Anesthesia designated Center of Excellence. Attending and OB resident staff.</p>

<p>Documentation system: EPIC</p>

<p>Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts</p>

<p>Floating policy: to areas with competency. AMC has an internal float team that assists in filling holes</p>

<p>Patient Experience requirements: L&D nurses required to float to high risk antepartum unit.</p>

<p>Any scrub Color</p>

<p>Advanced skills needed: Cesarean Sections, Inductions, Bariatric patients, other high-risk conditions</p>

<p>Procedures performed on unit: NSTs, Cerclage, triage, recovery after C-section</p>

<p>a. Parking: Please Park on upper floors of the 40 New Scotland Ave Garage unless directed otherwise. After parking, go to the Ground floor and exit outside- walk down the street to 22 New Scotland which is the 2nd building on the right</p>
</ul> <p>Albany Medical Center is a Regional Perinatal Center, and we care for the highest risk patients in the region, either seen at one of our practices, or transported in from other cohort hospitals. We are supported by our staff in our 60 bed level IV NICU.  </p> <p> </p> <p>WF 816590</p>

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

  • 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
  • Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
  • An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
