<p>Modules required prior to starting. Client will email them directly to the nurse once they&apos;re fully compliant. Modules will be unpaid. Approximate time is 3 Hours.</p>

<p>Please do not submit your candidate unless they’re 100% onboard with accepting the offer if given. The client is very sensitive to drops and we need to prevent any drops. </p>

<p>HealthTrust Travel nurses are required to float when requested and as needed. There is no set frequency.</p>

<p>Number of Beds: 36 private rooms</p>

<li>
<p>Unit staffing description: RNs, PCAs, ASAs, NPs, Nurse Clinicians, Case Manager, Social Worker, CM/SW Assistant, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy</p>

<li>
<p>Type of equipment: wound vacs, traction, IV pumps, chest tubes, NG, trach collars, feeding pumps, Vioptix monitors, suction, medical air, O2, mini infusers, PCA pumps, external fixation (ex-fix), high flow O2, oxi-pendant, Bi-Pap, and C-Pap. </p>

<p>Documentation system: Soarian Clinicals, MAK (medications), HEV (bed mgmt.), Pyxis, Vocera</p>

<li>
<p>Scheduling requirements: All shifts</p>

<li>
<p>Floating policy: to areas with competency.  AMC has an internal float team that assists in filling holes</p>

<li>
<p>Patient Experience requirements: Post-surgical, Med/ Surg</p>

<li>
<p>Hospital Specifics-</p>

<li>
<p>Certifications:  Academic Medical Center, Level 1 trauma center (adult); Children’s Hospital within a hospital</p>

<li>
<p>We care for patients from the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Step-down Unit, Emergency Department, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. </p>

<li>
<p>Skills: Wound vac changes, tracheostomy management & teaching, Cortrak management, IV insertion, phlebotomy, Vocera Badge and Web Console communication, telemetry monitoring, traction management, bariatric post- surgery, ostomy management & teaching, chest tube management, surgical and or pigtail drain management and teaching, and TPN.</p>

Qualifications:

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

  • 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
  • Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
  • An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
