<p>RN must have experience caring for MICU/SICU patients and administer medications, intravenous fluids including vasoactive drips, and blood products according to physician orders. Must manage advanced life support equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps. Must respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions with appropriate interventions; Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records; Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families regarding care plans and progress; Educate patients and families about treatments, procedures, and post-ICU care needs; Maintain infection control and safety protocols within the unit.Common Procedures Encountered- Endotracheal intubation and ventilator management; Central and arterial line insertion and management; Hemodynamic monitoring; Cardioversion, defibrillation, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS); Wound and pressure ulcer care; Blood transfusion administration and reaction monitoring. RN will be stationed in ICU but will do proactive rounding house wide and must have expereince on code blue and rapid response team.</p>

<p>Healthcare Professionals must satisfy any required credentialing items before traveling to a strike. USN will prioritize booking travel arrangements for Healthcare Professionals with a complete file. If you arrive on-site with missing or outstanding items, you may not be eligible to work the strike.</p>

/ ICU RAPID RESPONSE

- You will provide professional nursing services which include, but are not limited to, nursing interventions and their documentation, case finding, health teaching/counseling and provision of supportive and/or restorative care
- You will also participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards, and function as a member of a treatment team
- As a Nurse you may provide supervision to subordinate professional, paraprofessional, and support staff in the performance of their patient/resident care duties and be responsible for maintaining inventory standards for medicine, controlled drugs, and narcotics
