Facility Details: 
- COVID vaccine and Booster: religious exemptions accepted, medical exemptions NOT accepted 
- Flu Shot Required - Will not accept exemptions 
- Confidentiality FORM and Computer Access form needs to be completed upon offer- please be sure this is completed as soon as offer is accepted 
- IMPORTANT- RN must use badge to clock in and clock out for every shift/break, if RN forgets to clock in or out the exception log in staffing must be completed on the day they forgot. 
- Compliance is due Wednesday by 10am prior to start- HARD DEADLINE, RN will push to next orientation 
- First day orientation instructions are emailed directly to the temp. Please make sure email addresses are accurate. 
-Modules are needed prior to arrival, RN will received email from facility with instructions after offer and before start. Module time can be added to first timesheet. Facility will pay for 4hr of module time. 
 
- Located across the bridge from Philly in NJ. It is in Camden NJ 
- Cooper’s acuity is high and census is always above 550. That is without COVID. It’s their normal. It is the busiest trauma centers in the Philly/S. NJ area. 
- It is leading academic health system in the region, Cooper is a teaching hospital. It is Urban, it is in South NJ. It is busy with 1.6 M patient visits a year.    
 
Orientation: 
- 2 days of orientation in the classroom 
- No on-unit orientation 
- Returned Travelers will need to attend orientation if they haven’t worked at Cooper within the last 6 months. 
 
Unit Details:  
- Certification Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS 
- 3+ years of ICU at Level 1 trauma facility experience required – please make note in submit notes! 
- Navy Blue Scrubs 
- EMR: EPIC 
- 7p-730a Shift 
-Every other weekend required 
*Required to float to like units if necessary

ICU RN

- You will provide professional nursing services which include, but are not limited to, nursing interventions and their documentation, case finding, health teaching/counseling and provision of supportive and/or restorative care
- You will also participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards, and function as a member of a treatment team
- As a Nurse you may provide supervision to subordinate professional, paraprofessional, and support staff in the performance of their patient/resident care duties and be responsible for maintaining inventory standards for medicine, controlled drugs, and narcotics
