Yes CCT’s</span></div><div class="bd_summary" style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><b>• All MedSurg Tele, PCU and Critical Care skillsets are required to float to ALL like units if needed</b></div><div class="bd_summary" style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"></span><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><br></span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• They need to be comfortable with titratable drips, they have these on all their PCU units.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Do not need to be certified, however they must be competent in tele and have completed a course or competency. They do have a tele room, but the nurses are ultimately responsible for their patients and strips.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Required Experience: Medical management of chest pain, blood pressure, electrolyte imbalances, electrolyte replacement- PO and IV nurse drive heparin gtt protocol dysrhythmia course/interpretation of tele strips EKG IV push antihypertensive medications blood draws placement and maintenance of IVs Maintenance of PICC lines, Central Lines, Ports Trach management Chest Tubes</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Must be comfortable with IVs and/or blood draws. It is expected that all nurses working at Cooper can draw blood and insert IVs. They do have phlebotomy and IV team, however, IV team is consulted for hard sticks after attempts by primary RN have been made and there are times that phlebotomy is unavailable to draw labs and the nurse may need to jump in and help.</span></div><div class="bd_summary" style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">-Required to float to like units: Float to Trauma, Cardiac, Neuro, Surgical, Ortho, and Cancer Care units.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">-Navy Blue Scrubs</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">-EMR: EPIC</span><br><br><span style="font-size: 10pt; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);"><b>***Confidentiality FORM needs to be completed upon offer- please be sure this is completed as soon as offer is given***</b></span><br><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><b>IMPORTANT- RN must use badge to clock in and clock out for every shift/break, if RN forgets to clock in or out the exception log in staffing must be completed on the day they forgot.</b></span><br><br><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><b><u>Orientation:</u></b></span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">-Returned Travelers will need to attend orientation if they haven’t worked at Cooper within the last 6 months.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">-There is no on unit orientation.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">-bedside report and safety huddles are required</span></div><div class="bd_summary" style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><b><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><br></span><span style="font-size: 10pt; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);">** Modules are needed prior to arrival, RN will received email from facility with instructions after offer and before start. Module time can be added to first timesheet. It is in Camden NJ</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Cooper’s acuity is high and census is always above 550. That is without COVID. It’s their normal. It is the busiest trauma centers in the Philly/S. NJ area.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">It is leading academic health system in the region, Cooper is a teaching hospital. It is Urban, it is in South NJ.
