<strong><u>Facility Details:</u></strong><br>

  • Will accept non-vaccinated Covid travelers<br>
  • Only willing to approve RTO for 1 of 3 Major Holidays<br>
  • Asante will consider longer contracts through the Holidays if the traveler is interested<br> <br>

<strong><u>Orientation:</u></strong><br>

  • 48hrs<br>
  • 13 weeks<br>
  • Orientation on Mondays<br>
  • Department training would be 12 hours orientation to CVICU.<br> <br>

<strong><u>Unit Details:</u></strong><br>

  • BLS, ACLS required<br>
  • 3 years RN experience, 1 year of CVICU nursing required<br>
  • Required Experience: vents/trach management and care, post heart cath recovery and patient management, post op day 1 open heart surgery patient management, experience with long term ventilated patients, experience with swan ganz catheters, and vasoactive medication titration.<br>
  • Shift: 6:45a-7:15p, Every other weekend required<br>
  • Scheduled call is not required but can be put on mandatory stand by due to low census for their regularly scheduled shift. <br>
  • Traveler RN may float to any floor. If they float to med-surg, they are there as a resource nurse and may take a reduced assignment.<br>
  • 16 beds on unit, Nursing ratio’s 1:1 and 1:2<br>
  • Scrubs, any color acceptable. No tattoos above shoulders can be shown, and only facial piercings allowed is nose stud. Natural hair color only (no green/purple/blue etc)<br>
  • EPIC experience preferred<br> <br>

Qualifications:

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

  • 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
  • Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
  • An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
