Certifications Required: BLS- Unit Description: RN does not recover phase 2 & 3 only pre op. Anesthesia performs blocks. RN does not sedate. Call needed. PAT and Pre-op float between the two departments. RN will not draw blood or complete EKGs. Patients are sent to lab for blood draws and the PCT performs EKG. GE Dash, Alaris infusion, Welch Allyn vital signs. Ratios 1:3. BLS required. This hospital uses MEDITECH EHR- Any interested candidate must be willing to chart in MEDITECH

Qualifications:

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

  • 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
  • Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
  • An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
