<p>Unit Details:&nbsp;Cardiothoracic SICU-FRESH OPEN HEART/VAD/CRRT NeXT Stage Experience Required. Post open heart surgery, CABG, Valve, Bridge to transplant or destination therapy, VAD, Heart transplant and thoracic patients. Post lung transplants. Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, CIIT protocols. A-Line, Intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, IABP, (subset of nurses), Swans, ventilators. thermodilution pulmonary artery catheters, temporary pacemakers. ECCMO Perfusionist on unit experience preferred. CRRT NeXT Stage nurse driven experience preferred. Transducer set-up.&nbsp;Cardiac SICU Most acute unit. Fresh Open Heart Experience VAD Experience Required. Required IABP, Internal and External Pacing Wires, vent. Preferred CRRT Nxstage Nurse Driven and ECMO Experience.</p>

<p>Healthcare Professionals must satisfy any required credentialing items before traveling to a strike. USN will prioritize booking travel arrangements for Healthcare Professionals with a complete file. If you arrive on-site with missing or outstanding items, you may not be eligible to work the strike.</p>

- You will provide professional nursing services which include, but are not limited to, nursing interventions and their documentation, case finding, health teaching/counseling and provision of supportive and/or restorative care
- You will also participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards, and function as a member of a treatment team
- As a Nurse you may provide supervision to subordinate professional, paraprofessional, and support staff in the performance of their patient/resident care duties and be responsible for maintaining inventory standards for medicine, controlled drugs, and narcotics
