Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS(preferred), TNCC(preferred) - Unit Description: Trauma level II/ STEMI/Stroke.  Acuity ranges from urgent to critical care. -These are off site FSEDs. No need for a triage nurse. We do POC testing. We have Rad support.  It is open 24/7/365. If patients are admitted they are sent to main or appropriate level of care  RN draws blood, runs analyzers.  No RT support; RN will assist in intubation, bag respirations and transport will take patient to main hospital.  Analyzer for lab specimen. Hematology  Sysmex POCHi100, Chemistry Piccolo Abbott, blood gases/ Lactic acid Siemens, PT/PTT Wefern Hemochron Elite, Cardiac/Ddimer Quidel Triage, UA Siemens Clinitek Status plus, and Flu/RSV/SARS Quidel Sofia.*blood gases/ Lactic acid Siemens EPOC. Nova glucometer with the kit testing like occult blood and gastric, and Beta hcg.  Parapac for vents and Bipap is phillips respironix V60. This hospital uses MEDITECH EHR- Any interested candidate must be willing to chart in MEDITECH.

Qualifications:

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

  • 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
  • Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
  • An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
