Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS(preferred) - Unit Description: Procedural care of patient. Neuro intervention, stroke, interventional radiology procedures, monitoring and sedation-1 Neuro/Body room, but also use USS and CT to perform image guided procedures. No separate pre-op or PACU goes through regular areas. Yes RN performs moderate sedation. Yes RN scrub in occasionally but techs also do. Emergencies are considered embolizations/thrombectomies, dialysis Cath insertions (rare), other neuro cases. Yes give intrathecal chemo and do chemo embolizations. Clot Retrieval for LVO May take call.  Must have neuro experience. On call required. This hospital uses MEDITECH EHR- Any interested candidate must be willing to chart in MEDITECH.


Basic travel nursing requirements include:

  • 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
  • Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
  • An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
