<p>Unit Description :Tele monitor room but RN&apos;s will need to understand and assess EKG. Drips here but no titration. No chest tubes. Nurses may need to float to other areas to care for MS/SDU pt&apos;s in overflow areas/boarders. SDU RN&apos;s starts their own IVs. Wound care isn&apos;t a requirement, but highly pref. Could have pulm art lines, art lines, central venous pressure. DKA. Adult patients only.Patient population includes COPD, ortho, spine, colo rectal, some cardiac tele. They do not do have cath lab or cardiac surgery at this location.</p>
